South East Water

Great day organised by students of Ringmer College environmental team for the opening of their new rainwater harvesting system. Rainwater from a small area of the school roof is used to fill the 3,500 litre tank. This then passes through various processes before being pumped into a header tank. This tank then gravity feeds all toilets in the school saving hundreds of pounds per year, well done Ringmer.

The whole scheme was funded by South East Water a forward thinking water pro-active company. The photo attached shows some of the students involved and members of South East Water board.
